Spark your child’s imagination through playful art activities that stimulates their development and curiosity. We delve into the works of renowned artists, explore their inspiration, themes, and create unique masterpieces inspired by their paintings.
ArtAdventures give children the chance to explore textures and colour through printing & painting, dotting & sploshing without worrying about making a mess. classes provide a safe, secure and social environment in which your little artist can create and explore!
OUR SESSIONS
Investigate and create
Each week is inspired by a different painting from a range of artists including Matisse, Van Gogh, Jackson Pollock and many more.
Sessions begin with an exploration to discover the artist and their work through images and sensory exploration, followed by an art-making activity.
We end the class with a story inspired by the artist. This could be a story about the artist themselves or a book inspired by the themes the artist explored in their work.

Ever since I could remember, I have loved art. I would sit and doodle or colour, later I discovered working with clay, printing, felt making and many other art techniques.
While training to become a primary school and early years teacher my specialist subject was art, and I have also been school art coordinator.
I am now a mum to 2 children and we love to create and get messy together at home. However, as a busy mum, I have discovered that it is not always easy to find the time to get creative and deal with the mess or that some parents don't feel confident in getting creative and messy.
So I decided to set up ArtAdventures. An opportunity for parents to spend time getting creative with their little ones, be introduced to new ways to have fun and not have to worry about the mess. Plus as an added bonus children (and adults) will be introduced to a wonderful range of artists and their works.
